An A5 sized 60 page soft backed publication describing the techniques and materials required for the making of sixteenth & seventeenth century lace. The book concentrates on linen lace edgings and is illustrated with examples including the Middleton collection, Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, Warwick Museum etc. The book is well illustrated with colour photographs, and diagrams.

In addition, a reading list is provided to assist with further research.
