An A5 44 page Lace Guild publication introduces bobbin lace, and describes the equipment needed and the basic stitches. It then leads into the techniques of Torchon lace using a series of graded patterns. The publication also covers pattern drafting, running out of thread and using other threads. The book has been recently updated and now includes additional patterns worked in both white and coloured threads, and an updated reading list.
I post out books packed in padded envelopes or shallow large letter boxes to ensure that they arrive at their destination in good condition. Within the UK, I send mail First Class and elsewhere using the Airmail Small Packet service.

Shipping Charges - Within the UK, parcels are dispatched by Royal Mail First Class post. International parcels will be sent from the UK by Royal Mail International Standard service. I do obtain 'proof of posting' for all parcels. However, I would recommend a tracked postal service which includes insurance for larger value orders.
