Lace Bobbin for Wire and Metallic Thread Working

A Continental Flanders bobbin designed for working with metallic threads and wire - a slot has been cut into the head of the bobbin to hold the thread or wire in place. Metallic threads and wire can be difficult to work with using ordinary lace bobbins.
